Our primary concern is the care, well being and happiness of our clients. We have a team of qualified and experienced nursing staff, trained and motivated carers and cheerful and efficient support staff, many from the local community.

We strive to provide our clients with privacy and to respect their dignity and independence at all times. We believe in offering clients the widest choice in fulfilling their rights and quality of life.

Our current charges are:

For residential care: £575 per week

For Nursing care: ££850 per week

For Dementia care: £850 per week

For Respite care: please consult us for rates dependent on your requirements.

All privately funded clients admitted to Windmill House are eligible for a personal care allowance, currently £65 per week and a nursing care allowance of £145 per week – a total of £210 per week in the case of nursing care clients.

These allowances are made by the Scottish executive to those who qualify. Payments are made by the Department of Social Services following a positive assessment.

Some clients will be eligible for funding by the Department of Social Services for their entire costs and prospective clients are urged to contact their local department of Social Services, which in the case of Fife Council, is 01592 413070
