"Windmill House" Care Home occupies a private, quiet, 1.25 acre site at Cellardyke, in the picturesque village of Anstruther in the "East Neuk" of Fife. The village is popular with visitors from all parts of Britain and the attractive harbour with its Fisheries Museum and historic houses provide a pleasant and relaxing location for residents of "Windmill House".
"Windmill House" opened in 2000 and offers 40 en-suite rooms on two floors in a purpose-built"country-hotel" style setting. The accommodation offers a very high quality of comfort with two dining rooms, two lounges, a "quiet room", bathrooms with air-spa baths and a hairdressing salon. The building faces south towards the Firth of Forth and there is a large panoramic garden with a spacious terrace, water feature, gazebo, craft workshop and even our own vegetable garden.
We believe in offering our clients the highest standard of care and quality of life that we can. We have an activities coordinator and provide regular in-house entertainment as well as organising trips to places of interest and events.
