"Windmill House" is built on two floors offering accommodation for 40 residents in individual rooms (some interconnecting) all with en-suite toilet facilities. All of the rooms have views of the gardens or open countryside and the upper floor rooms facing south have views out over Anstruther to the shores of East Lothian.
All rooms are large and comfortable, built to the latest Health Board standards and designed with ease of access, mobility and security as priorities. Every room is tastefully furnished but residents may also furnish and decorate their room with items of their own as they wish. Each room has telephone and television connections, fire alarm and nurse call points.
There are three "assisted" bathrooms (two with the latest model air-spa baths) and two "assisted" shower rooms. There is a hairdressing salon and chiropody and physiotherapy services are arranged.
Residents have a choice of two dining rooms, three lounges, one of which is a dedicated "quiet" room, all overlooking the water feature in the south garden or looking out over Anstruther. A lift provides accesss to the upper floor.
